Keep it Simple...
I have missed posting since August 30. How time flies. I had lots of time during my recuperation from surgery this summer; now my life often feels like an out-of-control train, and one of the casualties is blogging. I have felt isolated as a result, and so I'm happy to report that my friend Henry Copeland inspired me in an e-mail today to go for small, simple posts, and I will. Here's one:

There's a maple tree on my drive to work that is so iridescent it borders on hallucinogenic... if you don't believe in miracles, come to New England for the fall colors.
